Berkshire at Sugarloaf has had very little incidents of crime over it’s 12 year history. In order to increase community involvement in the prevention of Crime a “COPS” (Community Oriented Police Services) program was implemented in Berkshire in 2010.
The COPS program encourages residents to be aware of their surroundings, know their neighbors, and call 911 if they see anything that doesn’t look normal. We encourage neighbors to pick up papers, keep the neighborhood clean and know what is going on in the area around their homes. The best prevention of crime is residents who will pay attention to what is going on and call the police if something isn’t right.
Crime Reports will be posted as necessary
